Vacancy description
Duties will include:
- The successful candidate will teach high quality physical education and sport to Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils in a number of different school environments
- You’ll be expected to plan, deliver and monitor high quality coaching activities which are progressive and reflective of the needs of primary aged children
- You’ll be expected to perform at consistently high standards in a school environment
- Be able to plan a range of exciting and engaging physical education coaching sessions
- Set up and deliver a range of extracurricular activities, before school, at lunch times and after school and during the school holidays
- You will be assigned a highly qualified and experienced coach who will support, supervise and mentor you in every aspect of the work you will be undertaking during the duration of the apprenticeship

Desired qualifications
- Minimum A-C (8-4) GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths
- Level 2 qualification in sport/PE/activity leadership or equivalent
Training to be provided:
- Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Physical Education and School Sport
- Level 3 Award in Employment Awareness in Active Leisure and Learning
- Functional Skills in maths and English Level 2
